Peter Ferris, the founder of Ferris Entertainment, has been teaching for over 26 years having taught many different students who went on to achieve success and fame including Martine McCutcheon, Louise Redknapp, Russell Brand, Claire Goose, Claire Sweeney and Lisa Snowdon.
10 years ago Peter launched the first screen acting classes in Wales and 4 years ago set up the first Screen Acting classes in Northern Ireland where they continue to run and lead the way in Screen Acting Technique to this day.

He personally teaches each class in Northern Ireland and Wales, on the third and final weekend of every month. He never fails to provide his students with a unique, educating and entertaining atmosphere inspiring them to reach their full potential

FAMILY LINKS
Do they have any family lineage in the industry?
Peter Ferris’ family have been in the Theatre, Musical and Film industry for over 75 years.
Peter’s Mother’s cousin was the dancer and choreographer Irving Davies who appeared not only in many West End musicals and films from the 1940’s
onwards but also starred alongside Gene Kelly in his innovative ensemble dance feature film “Invitation to the Dance” and was along with Paddy Stone in
the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s was the elite choreographer in the UK choreographing Television institutions such as “Sunday Night at the London Palladium” and
TV specials for the likes of Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones and Liberace.
Irving mentored Peter throughout his life until his death in 2002
John Ferris, Peter’s father, ran a theatrical agency in Northern Ireland throughout the 70’s and 80’s with very close family links to many Northern Irish
greats including Roy Walker and Gloria Hunniford

He worked with Mr Pakleppa on the pre-production of “The Last Unicorn” which starred Christopher Lee, Angela Lansbury and Mia Farrow.

On top of all this, Peter has produced, and will be producing upcoming Ferris Entertainment Films including the new Northern Irish and India Feature Film “Aum”
He also regularly attends the Cannes Film Festival as well as Toronto Film Festival and MIDEM – bringing at least an armful of promotional films that have been shot in the past year.

Peter has directed films such as High Stakes as well as Ferris Entertainment Films including: Audition for a Vampire, Delusions, Cold Blood (see review) and Parallel Lives. As well as 22 other films. He is also about to direct the Northern Ireland and India Feature film “Aum”.

Peter Ferris has appeared as George Harrison in the Beatles Theatre shows “Imagine” at the Liverpool Playhouse and Sgt. Peppers Magical Mystery Trip at Liverpool’s Everyman Theatre.

Peter Ferris has composed music for many TV programmes including for three Football Seasons for the UEFA Champions League weekly composing up to four tracks a week (over 70 tracks in all) which was aired in over 40 countries world wide
Have they composed music for Feature Films?
Peter Ferris has co-composed the tracks for the Animated Feature film “Felix” for Universal Pictures (which went to Number One at the German box office beating Martin Scorsese’s “The Aviator”)
