Screen Actors Gun Masterclass

(No Shooting Experience Necessary)

Whether it’s Downton Abbey or James Bond many productions have a scene where the characters are at a shoot and need to be seen to have had experience shooting.

In this masterclass held on an estate which was a Royal Deer Park once owned by Henry VIII’S wife Jane Seymour’s Family, you will be taught to shoot clay targets with your Shooting Teacher Kevin Ricks (one of your Teachers - click here to learn more) in the morning then after lunch in a thatched pub built in the 1500’s you will work on scenes where your character is shooting.

On a film set, all the requirements of handling and firing the gun must not take away your focus or affect your acting performance

This masterclass will teach you to appear comfortable around shot guns while delivering dialogue and a “truthful” performance.

Your scenes will be filmed and the class watches them back with thoughts and advice on screen acting from Peter Ferris and gun handling from Kevin Ricks which allows you to progress throughout the day

This Masterclass will allow you to say at an audition that you have attended a Clay Target Shooting Screen Acting Masterclass which may be the deciding factor for you being chosen for a role for TV, Film or a Commercial.

Acting with Horses

(No Horse Riding Experience Necessary)
(You will not be asked to ride a horse)

Have you ever had to turn down an audition because it said “Must be comfortable around Horses”

What makes it worse is if it is a role which may be three or more weeks filming or even a series but one scene requires you to be “Comfortable around a horse”

Whether it’s Game of Thrones or Downton Abbey or countless films, many productions have a scene where the characters have to be with a horse and need to be seen to have had experience and be comfortable around horses.

In this masterclass held on an estate which was a Royal Deer Park once owned by Henry VIII’S wife Jane Seymour’s Family, you will be taught to be comfortable around horses by Fiona Johnson (one of your teachers - click here to learn more) in the morning then after lunch in a thatched pub built in the 1500’s you will work on scenes where your character is delivering dialogue with a horse in close proximity.

On a film set, all the requirements of working next to a horse must not take away your focus or affect your acting performance
This masterclass will teach you to appear comfortable around horses while delivering dialogue and a “truthful” performance.

Your scenes will be filmed and the class watches them back with thoughts and advice on screen acting from Peter Ferris and working around horses from Fiona Johnson which allows you to progress throughout the day

This Masterclass will allow you to say at an audition that you have attended a Working with Horses Screen Acting Masterclass which may make you stand out from the other actors or be the deciding factor for you being chosen for a role for TV, Film or a Commercial.
